Previous Teaching Experience: Merit badge teacher. Taught high school students about the beach. (I’m the beach teach, if you want to learn about the beach then I can teach!)

Family: My mom is a 30-year veteran elementary school art teacher and has won teacher of the year twice. My father’s an awesome medical salesman who has been quoted as being able to sell ice to an eskimo. I have a brother and a sister who are twins and both in college. My sister takes after my mom with her artistic abilities, and my brother’s a computer whiz actually built his own laptop. I have an extremely lovable pitweiler dog whose hobbies include running around in circles and barking at his own reflection.

I earned the rank of Eagle Scout during my twelve years of scouting; I also earned every marine and water related merit badge while in scouting. I’m passionate about wildlife conservation, specifically in the marine environment which influenced my decision to get a degree in marine biology. I recently graduated from the fire academy and became a volunteer fire fighter with CyFair. I really enjoy volunteer work and go to the Dominican Republic for two weeks every year to help build houses for those in need.

I love the outdoors and spend as much time as I can hiking and kayaking. I can’t wait to show my enthusiasm for the environment!
