A Letter from the Superintendent:
Hello Wildcats, and welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!
This year promises to be one filled with excitement and growth! As we open our doors for the upcoming school year, I want to welcome back to every student, family, and staff member in our Wildcat community! There is a unique energy that fills our halls each August—a sense of renewed purpose, shared pride, and limitless potential for our district.
This year, our guiding theme across the district, on every campus, and in each classroom is "Focus on the Grow."
Growth isn't just about end-of-year results - we know that our students are more than a test score. It’s about the continuous, daily journey of becoming better than we were yesterday. To bring this theme to life, three core pillars will serve as our foundation:

Clarity: Clarity is kindness. In OISD, we will set clear, actionable goals for every learner and hold ourselves to high standards. When expectations are clear, our students gain the focus they need to map their own path forward.

Commitment: Progress requires steady dedication. We are fully committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where every child has the resources to thrive academically, socially, and personally.

Courage: Real growth happens outside our comfort zones. It takes courage to step up, embrace new challenges, and learn from mistakes, but that is what it takes to grow. We want our Wildcats to approach every hurdle with confidence and determination.
Achieving meaningful growth takes our entire community working together. Whether you are a parent encouraging your kids at home, a teacher inspiring in the classroom, a staff member supporting learning, or a community member cheering on our students, your partnership makes all the difference.
I sincerely thank you for your ongoing support of Onalaska ISD. Let’s make this an incredible year as we keep our eyes on the goal and Focus on the Grow!

The Superintendents Office is located at 134 N. FM 356 in Onalaska. Our office is happy to serve you from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday- Thursday during the school year with modified hours on Fridays and during the summer. Please check our school year calendar for information on our Friday availability.
